The Capital District Transportation Committee (CDTC) is the designated Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) carrying out federal requirements for cooperative transportation planning and programming in Albany, Rensselaer, Saratoga, and Schenectady Counties (except the Town of Moreau and the Village of South Glens Falls) in New York State.

CDTC has budgeted up to $33,000 for qualified firms or individuals to develop a pavement asset management plan for the Town of Hoosick’s locally owned roadways. The purpose of this study is to recommend cost-effective work strategies and to prepare a 10-year pavement work program with the goal of improving the overall condition of the Town’s roads.

The consultant contract will be administered by CDTC and the project will be jointly managed by CDTC and the Town of Hoosick. CDTC expects all work to be completed within 10 calendar months from the date of contract execution.

The consultant shall perform an automated pavement condition assessment consistent with NYSDOT’s procedures, implement a pavement management system, identify repair alternatives, and prepare a 10-year work plan.

Proposals are due by 5:00 PM EST on Friday December 30, 2022 via email to cdtc@cdtcmpo.org or on a USB flash drive to the Capital District Transportation Committee offices, One Park Place, Albany, NY 12205. Paper submissions will not be accepted.
