Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center is looking to implement a secure-print solution within its current clinical printing environment. In a standard network printing environment, when a user prints from an application, the job is sent directly to the default printer and starts printing immediately. In some environments it might be advantageous to place the job in a holding state prior to printing. One of these scenarios is a Secure Print solution in which printing jobs (secure) are only printed on the printer when the user arrives at the print location and confirms his or her identity on the print system device. This ensures the user is there to collect the print job and other users can't accidently collect the document. The solution will be implemented for approximately 350 devices, within an environment of roughly 1,800 systems.
