Binghamton University intends to purchase an optical spectrometer system from Teledyne Princeton Instruments. The intended purpose of the optical spectrometer system is to facilitate optical investigations of two-dimensional quantum materials. The system comprises four parts: (1) a spectrograph with a dual entrance, (2) a set of gratings, (3) a camera cooled with liquid nitrogen, and (4) the necessary
software.

SUNY intends to make an award under our discretionary authority, pursuant to NYS Education Law 355 (5) (a}, which is up to $125,000, for the above noted commodity / product or service.
