The State of New York, Office of General Services (OGS), Consolidated Warehousing and Distribution Operations (CWDO), through this solicitation is seeking to enter into a five-year contract with a qualified Contractor to provide less then truckload and full truckload delivery services throughout New York State. Any known planned use of subcontractors must be disclosed in detail when submitting your bid.

The following minimum requirement must be met by each bidder:

• Bidder must have at least three consecutive years of experience providing less than and full truckload delivery services in similar size and scope as required by this solicitation.

The Contractor shall provide refrigerated, non-refrigerated, low boy, and high low trailers to perform less-than truckload and full-truckload delivery services throughout New York State. Additionally, the Contractor may be responsible for providing and operating equipment to load and unload freight onto those vehicles. Contractor shall provide appropriate tractor and trailer configuration requested by OGS CWDO.

The majority of freight will be picked up at the Menands Distribution Center located at 93 Broadway, Menands, New York. Additional pick-up locations are Albany Distribution Center - 10 North Ferry Street, Albany New York, Guilderland Distribution Center - 2 Van Brown Boulevard, Building 11, Bay 5, Guilderland Center, New York, and Brentwood Distribution Center - 101 Wilshire Boulevard, Brentwood New York.

The majority of OGS CWDO shipments shall be designated as “freight all kind” (FAK) with a freight classification of 65. OGS CWDO may request all freight classes, 50 through 300.

1. The Contractor shall obtain all necessary licenses and permits and provide copies of such to the designated contact for OGS CWDO.
2. The Contractor must comply with all laws, rules, orders, ordinances, and regulations which are applicable to the jurisdiction and premise where services are being performed.

The Contractor shall provide well-maintained, clean and secure delivery vehicles.
