The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC) is soliciting bids for the purchase and delivery of pheasants. In the spring of 2023, despite extensive biosecurity measures, the Reynold’s Game Farm was depopulated due to a Highly-Pathogenic Avian Influenza outbreak in the breeder flock. As such, to meet the stated goals and objectives of the state’s Pheasant Management Plan, the DEC is seeking a vendor to produce and deliver started and adult pheasants.
