Description: The State University of New York at Plattsburgh (“SUNY Plattsburgh”) intends to make an award under our discretionary authority, pursuant to NYS Education Law §355(5)(a) for the above-referenced service. A sealed bid will NOT be held. Vendors interested in providing a proposal (“Vendor”) may submit a proposal as outlined in the Proposal Format and Deadline Section of the RFQ. The purpose of this Request for Quote (RFQ) is to procure Fire Extinguisher Inspection services for 1,100 +/- extinguishers for annual, six (6) or 12 year inspections with certification and testing. Services are expected to be provided between December 22, 2022 and January 28, 2023 and the same time frame each year. All extinguishers need to be tested on site/ in place. A list of the extinguishers is provided so each year testing requirements can be seen. This list needs to be updated and all reports sent to Maintenance and Operations Manager or designee.
