GFSD Access and Circulation Assessment
Description:

The Adirondack / Glens Falls Transportation Council, the Metropolitan Panning Organization for Warren County, Washington County, and the Town of Moreau in Saratoga County, seeks responses from qualified transportation planning and engineering firms to conduct an assessment of non-motorized and motorized traffic access and circulation to the Glens Falls High School and Glens Falls Middle School on behalf of the Glens Falls School District and the City of Glens Falls. The goal is to develop a plan that identifies improvement opportunities for the existing transportation network, possible changes to on-street circulation patterns, associated conceptual costs, and realistic funding opportunities to enhance pedestrian safety and efficient circulation during peak arrival and dismissal times. Target completion horizon is 5 months. Subconsulting arrangements are permissible.
