NYC Health + Hospitals implemented Epic enterprise-wide beginning in 2018, including all revenue cycle functionality, replacing disparate legacy platforms across the system. In 2022 we are adding Wisdom for dentistry and Willow for outpatient pharmacy. Since Epic does not offer clearinghouse services natively, we are seeking a vendor to provide these services for our hospital billing, professional billing and home care lines of business. It is the expectation that the vendor shall provide integrated, exception-based work queues within Epic such that the end users do their work in Epic and not on the vendor platform. We are interested in achieving the highest level of automation possible to create a “low touch” revenue cycle experience for our end-users.
