NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the County of Wayne will receive sealed bids for Wayne County Museum Roof Replacement at 21 Butternut Street. Lyons, NY 14489. Project scope of work includes but not limited to asbestos abatement, removal of existing roofing materials down to deck, replacement and repair of wood soffit and fascia, supply and installation of new modified bituminous roof system with associated trims, gutter & downspout, priming and painting.
Such sealed bids must be clearly identified and filed with the Clerk of the Wayne County Board of Supervisors, 26 Church Street, Lyons, New York 14489, on or before 2:00 p.m. prevailing time on Friday November 18th 2022, at which time said bids, will be publicly opened and read.
There will be a “Bidders Tour” of the facilities to answer any questions Bidders may have. The “Bidders Tour” will be held onsite on Wednesday, October 26th 2022 @ 10:00 am. For directions call

The County of Wayne shall not be held responsible for the completeness or accuracy of any bid documents received by a vendor that were not directly issued to that vendor by the Purchasing Department.
Any vendor submitting a bid based on incomplete or inaccurate information resulting from documentation received from any third party, shall not have cause for relief from award or completion of a contract in accordance with the official documents on file with the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors.

The County does not offer or supply anyone the list of people that have obtained a copy of these bid specifications or cost estimates for the project prior to the opening of the bid. NO EXCEPTIONS ARE MADE TO THIS POLICY.
